-They're making a new Sailor Moon anime in Japan, and seem to be implying it'll be in some way available worldwide?

-Something's wrong with my bedroom wall and water is coming in somehow and my carpet got all wet and now my room is all violated. MY BEDROOOOOM. It's going to be awhile before someone fixes it. yay mildew?

-I thought there were more things but there aren't more things

Both. If I think CNN's got it covered I'll probably switch that on AND run to my computer and see what other sources are saying. You get a lot of different viewpoints on the internet, and with twitter and the like you often get raw news, before it's been filtered and gussied up for proper presentation on air/in a news article (whether it's on a website like Yahoo or printed in the newspaper it still has to look good and have all the fact straight. supposedly. But if you're getting it raw there's less lag.)

I feel like this question is a sort of cloaked "lololol the internet is taking over where TV was once important!" kind of question. That's not the case. With the internet, you have to know what you want before you go on. With television, the scroll on the bottom and the news anchors present a variety of news, some of which you probably didn't realize you cared about. There's a big difference between saying "I want to see how the Rays did" and looking it up online and getting just the score, and looking in a newspaper and seeing the whole game and having your eye caught by an interesting article about one of the players. Which can happen online, but not as often and it doesn't feel as spontaneous and interesting.

And I'm really attached to my local news anchors.

WTF at the kid supposedly in the balloon. Who turned out to be IN HIS HOUSE THE WHOLE TIME. I just wasted like four hours watching this story. P.S. CNN is dumb as shit, you guys. I didn't realize :(

--JK Rowling's on Twitter! Her username's jk_rowling. I don't tweet myself, but I follow like a million celebrities. It's fun. Kylie and Dannii are on too.

--Kylie's US tour setlist leaked today! I'm so jealous :( I entered a contest to win 2 tickets to her New York show. I hope I win. (I doubt it.)

--Why do the Rays suck :( Good news seems to be that my favorite players will be back next season. Um, probably. I hate trading :(

--I like Beethoven's 6th. Well, the first part. It's pretty.

Good news:
FLUWATCH 2009:
-Still not sick.
-Have baby migraine, though. Funnily enough darkness bothers my eyes more than the computer screen.

BEATLES:
-The Beatles version of that Rockband game comes out 09/09/09. Neat.
-Paul and Ringo will be playing TOGETHER at the SAME TIME on the SAME STAGE with some other folks at some sort of benefit concert for... teaching children of war how to meditate? Good idea in theory, but I bet they'd rather have, like, food or something.

Kylie Minogue:
-She's going to be in a Bollywood movie AND sing a song!

September:
-Currently recording new album while releasing singles off of her old one in hopes of getting ANOTHER US club hit (You may have heard the last one- "Cry For You", the one that goes "You'll never see me again, so now who's gonna cry for you?")
-Recently stated Kylie was her inspiration. I love it when my musical loves collide.

Birds:
-My birds (Mookie and Rocco) have been pretty crappy as pets since I got them, but today they let me feed them some celery. It was A Moment. I'm glad.

Rays:
-Been doing pretty well in Spring Training. Whoo!

My Novel:
-Still sucks :(

Headache:

I have news! And some of it is important so pay attention.

-GreatestJournal is dead :(

-Livejournal just layed off 13 employees and people who are smart are backing up their journals (I used http://fawx.com/software/ljarchive/, which was pretty easy, and lj itself has a backup program but it doesn't save comments) and although there really isn't any indication that livejournal is going down, if you keep up with lj news obsessively, you'll have seen the pattern. So... yeah.

-Still almost sick. My temperature is 99.2.

-Britney Spears' next single will be a song called "If U Seek Amy." Yeah, say it out loud. Yeeeeah. (The rest of the album is so much better than that stupid gimmicky crap, grr. If I have to hear overproduced nonsense, at least make it better than that, dudes.)

-Half-Blood Prince is being rated PG. Whut

kbye.
