I finally got my neon pink tipped hands on the new HP book, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard". I would have gotten it sooner, but walmart.com insisted they didn't have it in store. But they totally do have it. I cannot WAIT to get started, but I also kind of want to savor it, too. So I'm sitting next to it right now and when I'm done with my daily internet crap, I've got some wonderful reading to do. I might reread "Quidditch" and "Fantastic Beasts" again just to stall some more. The reviews have been so positive and it just sounds like such a fun and engaging book that even if it's not specifically about Harry's story, it's still going to be a great ride. Can you tell I'm excited???
The excitement may be partially derived from the Gobstoppers I'm eating. I'll crack open the Bottlecaps soon. Mmmmmmmmsugar. I'm going to have to brush my teeth good, but it's worth it to get some non-sugar free candy once in awhile.
In sadder news, my grandma's cockatiel Aldo isn't doing well, and I'm trying not to think of the phonecall I might be getting soon. Bird-sized prayers appreciated.
