So I was thinking, I wish people would admit when they're wrong or admit that they suck at something.
Take me, for example. Now, I'm reasonably intelligent. However, I have a kind of mental block when it comes to logic, spatial skills, and anything math-related. Basically, I was built without a large part of the left side of my brain. I mean, I'm bad at the simplest of math equations, I can't give directions, I can't estimate distances. But I admit this freely. I admit that I suck at logic-y stuff.
Why can't other people who are stupid at something admit it? I mean, half the time they don't even realize they're stupid!
And all of those people, like gangs and whatever, who are so obssessed with "honor" and "turf" and whatever, enough to actually take human lives. For what? Okay, you called my mother fat. Well, whatever, have a nice day. Ooops, I stepped on the sidewalk you like to walk on. So what? What the hell, man? Are these people's lives so devoid of meaning that they cling to anything that can give them a sense of ownership and pride?
Gah, I should rule the universe.
