When I get published, look for books of short stories by either Kynthia deFelice or Diviana Moonbeam.

...yes, I did intentionally type Kynthia.

IT'S LIKE THEY KNOW ME!
------------------------

K so yesterday I had a visit from George (<3) and made a startling discovery.
My feet are two different sizes.
We went to the Citrus Park Mall and went in through the Sears entrance. So we passed the shoe section and for some strange reason were sucked in.
I cast an eye around very quickly- I am not at all fond of trying on shoes or looking at shoes or shoes in general, but last night one pair actually did catch my eye.
It was one of those instances where you see something and kind of melt into a little puddle because you love it so much, very like how I feel about my darling sweetheart. (Not that I'm comparing you to a pair of shoes.)
They were pink high-heels. They were those jelly kind and were hot pink and had little breathing holes and pointy toes. I was smitten.
So we asked for them in my size- 6- and I sat down to gleefully try on the gorgeous shoes. They were even on sale!
I slipped on the little sock things- it's the law, you HAVE to when trying on shoes- and, with almost trembling hands, I slipped the right shoe on my, obviously, right foot.
It was a bit loose but I figured that was ok. Mother suggested trying both on at once so I could see how they feel (at this point we were pretty much set on buying them.)
So I pulled the cardboard and paper out of the left shoe and slipped it on.
Surprise!
It was tight. A lot tighter than the right shoe.
I stood up and walked around a bit and realized to my horror that the right shoe was practically falling off as I walked whilst the left shoe clung to my left foot like it was glued on.
We compared the two feet, and the results were highly strange- the left toes went up a lot farther than the right toes, which to me made no sense at all.
Looking at the shoes, they were the same size, so no chance of a simple mix-up.
No, my feet are FREAKS. One is larger than the other. Or something.
I almost cried. I was omgthisclose to tears. Really.
It ruined my whole evening. I WANTED THOSE SHOES. I NEVER, NEVER, N.E.V.E.R., FIND DECENT SHOES!

Sigh.
:::runs off to sears.com to try to find a picture of the shoes:::

Post it later.
