ivyetteI voted for the first time ever today. I'm excited. :) Almost everyone I voted for won, so yay. They're doubling our homestead exemption! Which means pretty soon I get my name on my "second" house. I think it'll be cool to be a homeowner.
Also, I just found out that two of the magazines I grew up reading- at least through my teen years, anyway- have been shut down. YM and Teen People died :( You have no idea how upset that makes me. At least CosmoGirl and Teen Vogue still exist. (TV is the only one I get anymore, though. I use their ads to decorate my room, because I am cheap.)
I'm going to go mourn my teen years, kbi.
